AAMI: Karate Camilla

Film
Aami

Insurance brand AAMI is launching a new campaign for AAMI Life Insurance. Created by Ogilvy Melbourne, the new spot’s hero is six-year-old Camilla, a fiercely adorable karate student. Her moves and signature catchphrase become the catalyst for an unexpected series of events.

In typical AAMI style, the brand breaks the usual formula for Life Insurance with engaging and memorable characters, slice of life comedic storytelling, and human insight.

Canadian Premier League: League Manifesto

Film
Canadian Premier League

The Canadian Premier League is a new soccer league launching in Canada. They wanted to announce their mission and rallying cry to soccer starved Canadians from coast to coast. With the league 12 months out from playing their first match, we needed to ignite the pride of a nation and create interest in a sport we’re not traditionally known to excel at. So we created a symbol of the movement being the logo and a video featuring real soccer players, supporters, coaches and fans across Canada.

Hermes Pardini: Flower of Life

Media
Hermes Pardini

In a region with no cell signal, no roads and no internet, it’s hard for women to be reminded every year about the pap test. So we developed the “Flower of Life”. A kind of cattleya that blooms once a year and everytime it does, reminds Amazonian women it’s time for the pap test against cervical cancer. An initiative led by Grupo Hermes Pardini with the support of the Pará State Department of Health, a state with 3 more cases of the disease than the average in Brazil.

Singapore Children’s Society: Unmute Daniel x Shazam

1 in 9 adolescents is a victim of cyberbullying. Nearly half of them have never reported it. Unlike physical bullying that leaves behind scars and bruises, online bullying is much harder to spot. Daniel represents every child who has been silenced through technology. By creating digital billboards that project soundwaves inaudible for the human ear, Shazam recognized the “silence” and helped Daniel and other victims to speak up.

The FDA Is Cracking Down on Vaping Products That Look Like Children’s Snacks

If vaping has reached epidemic levels among teenagers, as public health officials have declared, it’s not too tough to see where the roots of the problem may lie, the FDA said this week in yet another crackdown on e-cigarette marketing. The agency warned more than a dozen manufacturers, distributors and retailers that they’re endangering kids…
