Facebook imita Timehop com “On This Day”, que lembra o que você fez em anos anteriores

onthisday

image-6

Four Ways to Turn Up the Volume with Millennials This Music Festival Season

Peace, love and an audience of captive millennials that’s the theme of this year’s summer music festival season, which is already in full swing. Last year, a staggering one in five millennials attended a music festival, with many paying top dollar and traveling long distances to see their favorite artists. And while music festivals are a marketer’s dream in terms of connecting with an audience that’s savvy, engaged and open to new experiences, the competition is fierce. In 2014, some 447 brands played a role in 300 music festivals worldwide, according to analysis by FRUKT. With so many companies and devices vying for the heart of the notoriously discerning millennial, how can you break through the noise and make your brand stand out? Here are four ways to connect with millennials during summer music festival season:

Think mobile first. Millennials make up the largest segment of smartphone owners. In the second quarter of 2014, 85% of millennials ages 1824 and 86% ages 25-34 owned devices. With the right audience targeting and geofencing capabilities, plus emerging technologies like beacons, it’s becoming easier than ever to reach your target audience at the right time and place on their mobile device.

OK Go's First Official Ad Is for Chinese Furniture, and It's Full of Optical Illusions

OK Go has collaborated with plenty of brands—including Chevrolet, Google, Samsung and State Farm—on its own music videos. But here is the first truly traditional commercial the band has ever filmed. Though of course, this being OK Go, it’s far from typical.

The ad, which the band worked on in China for much of February, is for the Chinese furniture store Red Star Macalline. Full of optical illusions, it visually references OK Go’s 2014 video “The Writing’s on the Wall” (which the band later accused Apple of ripping off) but is set to another OK Go track, “I Won’t Let You Down” (a remixed version by drummer Dan Konopka).

Hear the band talk about the project here:

Realistic Painted Portraits with Reflections

Heinz, Kraft to Merge With Help from 3G

Ketchup and macaroni and cheese will come together under a merger announced today between Kraft Foods Group and H.J. Heinz that will create the third-largest food and beverage company in North America and fifth-largest in the world.

The deal to create The Kraft Heinz Company was orchestrated by 3G Capital and Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway. The move comes after 3G — which is notorious for aggressive cost-cutting — acquired Heinz a couple of years ago with financing help from Berkshire. The new company will be based in Pittsburgh and Chicago and have revenues of about $28 billion and with eight one-billion-dollar brands.

Bernardo Hees, CEO of Heinz, will become CEO of The Kraft Heinz Company.

The Uncarrier Comes to Enterprise

T-Mobile has upended the consumer telecom market. Can it do the same for enterprise?

That’s the plan.

Last week, the fourth-largest national operator (or third, if you ask its CEO) announced the ninth iteration of its splashy “Uncarrier” initiatives. This one focused on business. The carrier introduced a phone rate plan for corporate clients priced to undercut Verizon and AT&T. According to T-Mobile, their two rivals command nearly 90% of the $80 billion plus wireless enterprise market.

Catstacam permite que gatos postem fotos no Instagram

gato

Pets Are Exciting Multi-use Tools in These Fantastic Infomercials for an Animal Shelter

Cats aren’t just great alarm clocks. They’re also excellent sleeping masks.

Two gag infomercials for the Animal Foundation animal shelter in Las Vegas (created by agency R&R Partners) hawk exciting new multi-purpose products for your home—”Pet Cat” and “Pet Dog.”

Dogs are surprisingly efficient vacuum cleaners and capable concierges. What else can they do? “The list goes on and on,” the voiceover assures you—and you should pause it while it’s scrolling by, because most of the options are great (even if maybe one too many is about warming some body part … as accurate as that may be).

The writing is sharp and funny, the acting perfectly overdone, and the voiceover as cheesy as possible—dead-on parody. Each pet even comes with a free accessory—for the dog, a leash, aka an instant gym attachment, and for the cat, a paper bag (it’s better than having a TV).

So hurry up and don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity. Litter box and Nature’s Miracle not included.
