The Old VW, better than the new VW.
Posted in: UncategorizedYou know that new VW spot where the Jetta or Passat or whatever beeps everytime the guy who wants to buy it takes a step toward it? See, in the spot, turns out that the car’s already sold and instead of putting a sold sign on it, the new owner thinks it’s funny to peep-peep the alarm to scare the first guy. I get it, and it’s kind of funny. It’s just not nearly as good as this:
Seems I used to know exactly what kind of brand VW was, just from their ads. Now their ads are telling me they’re just another car company. And that’s a little sad, in an advertising kind of way.
