If you happen to be among the people thinking of a good way to bring family and relatives together, consider investing on HDTVs. At least that is what Samsung gathered. Football fans or not agree that there is no better place to watch games than at home when there is a high definition television in place.

However, the survey also found that football fans are willing to take the show on the road, even to the in-laws, if they had the right incentive. More than four in ten (43%) football fans would be more likely to visit their in-laws if they had an HDTV to watch the game. Among this group, men are more likely than women to visit the in-laws if there was an HDTV waiting for them (50% vs. 34%).

So if you want your in-laws and you partner to get along better, consider getting one. It can make a difference as far as deepening family ties.
