To shine a spotlight on Ireland’s rampant food poverty rates, food charity Little Flower Penny Dinners has teamed up with creative agency In the Company of Huskies, drawing attention to the issue of food poverty with their latest campaign entitled ‘Famine Food Bank’.

Huskies installed a non-functional food bank in front of the most powerful symbol of hunger in Irish history, the famous Famine Memorial, where people could donate a plate of food to Little Flower using a QR code. Situated in Dublin City Docklands, the Famine statues provide a stark reminder of the Irish Potato famine – the most profound disaster in Irish history, when more than one million people died and a million more emigrated.

VIP: The Exchange

Serviceplan Spain launched a campaign for The Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producers of Val Venosta (Vip) during the week of the Patron Saint of Santa Dorotea in Spain on “El Día del Frutero” (the day of Fruit). The initiative took the form of a mini reality show, with singer and influencer Natalia Rodríguez and Greengrocer Felix Vázquez exchanging roles for a day. The campaign is designed to support Spanish small businesses and introduce local businesses to the digital world, whilst making the next generation aware of the importance of neighbourhood greengrocers.

With The Exchange, the Vip pays tribute to fruit and vegetable producers in Val Venosta with an exchange of roles between Natalia Rodríguez – the famous Spanish singer who starred in Operación Triunfo 1 – and Felix Vázquez, a greengrocer who has been in charge of one of the most famous greengrocers in Madrid for 50 years.

At the end of 2019, in France, unclaimed life insurance policies amounted to nearly 5.5 billion euros*, and unclaimed estates, left without specified heirs, number in the thousands every year. Even more, in the event of death, family members only have 6 months to file the declaration of inheritance: all that time spent calculating the estate, establishing the list of the deceased’s assets is time wasted, not to mention leaves open the risk of forgetting important things**.

Those findings are what inspired the creation of the TRANSMISSIO project in 2021 by 6 founders.

To introduce this new service, Transmissio and its agency ROSA PARIS are communicating for the first time with a 90 second film that tackles the delicate matter with humor and absurdity.

The film features a man who, just after his death, realizes he never gave his wife the code to their safe.The problem is that he’s far from home. Very far. Alive, the journey home wouldn’t have been an easy one but, dead … You can only imagine.

The film’s signature, “Dying happens in life” is as unexpected as the offbeat film that opts to play down the notion of transmission.
