Se Coca-Cola Zero tem gosto de Coca-Cola, então pode existir alguém por aí que é igualzinho a você. É com essa descrição que começa o “Facial Profiler”, uma ferramenta integrada ao Facebook que, através de uma foto sua, procura pessoas com a sua cara.

O aplicativo, que foi anunciado no início de outubro e entrou em funcionamento hoje (na época um monte de gente comentou, mas ninguém de fato testou), parte do princípio da mesma tecnologia que a polícia utiliza para localizar rostos em meio a multidões.

Você pode utilizar uma foto sua já no Facebook, ou então fazer upload de uma nova. Após um breve rastreamento, o resultado mais próximo é apresentado. Se quiser, você ainda pode entrar em contato com o seu clone desconhecido.

No meu caso, não achei a pessoa indicada parecida comigo. O próprio site diz que teve 57% de semelhança, apenas. Porém, várias das “TOP 100 matches” são assustadoramente iguais.

A criação é da Crispin Porter + Bogusky, que pede a sua ajuda para votar nas semelhanças mais acuradas, e assim refinar o sistema do “Facial Profiler”.
