Earth Hour Hora do Planeta

O projeto “Earth Hour” (Hora do Planeta), que ganhou Titanium Lion no Festival de Cannes em 2007, chega nesse ano pela primeira vez no Brasil. É um ato simbólico em que a socidade é convidada a apagar as luzes durante 1 hora para demonstrar sua preocupação com o aquecimento global.

A Hora do Planeta vai acontecer no próximo sábado, dia 28 de março, as 20h30, e pretende contar com a adesão de mais de mil cidades e 1 bilhão de pessoas em todo o mundo. Cadastre-se no site do movimento e participe.

Lá em Sydney, na Austrália, onde tudo começou, a WWF está veiculando um belo comercial para divulgar a Hora do Planeta 2009. Criado pela Leo Burnett local e produzido pela Plaza Films, com trilha sonora de Elliot Wheeler, composta originalmente para o anúncio.

The rival reality shows were topped by "Idol," as its Motown-tribute show delivered a 9.3/24 rating and share in the ad-centric 18-to-49 demographic, which easily gave Fox first place for the night.

Começando o BrainSessions, novo formato do Braincast TV

A primeira conversa foi na Starbucks da Alameda Santos, aqui em São Paulo. Convidamos Rosana Hermann e Michel Lent para um café, e contamos nossa vontade de fazer um Braincast um pouco diferente. Um formato que nunca tínhamos tentado, talvez um programa a parte, ou um quadro novo dentro do próprio videocast. E claro, eles teriam que aceitar serem cobaias desse experimento.

Isso foi no dia 25 de novembro do ano passado. Nem faz tanto tempo assim, mas foram quase quatro meses de conversas e tentativas de conciliar as agendas de todo mundo para gravar o que demos o nome de BrainSessions. Seria o nosso primeiro videocast gravado ao vivo de verdade, com platéia e uma estrutura bem diferente do que estávamos acostumados.

Braincast TV BrainSessions

Nada de um mega evento, três mil lugares ou quitutes sofisticados, muito menos a promessa de ser o “TED brasileiro” ou equivalente, e sim a vontade de fazer um videocast inspirador. É isso a que se propõe o BrainSessions, um formato para falar de criatividade e inspiração de diversas formas, sem necessariamente estarmos amarrados com um tema específico ou discussões publicitárias.

Dois convidados vão lá na frente, falam brevemente sobre um assunto que queiram, e depois batem um papo com quem estiver presente. Depois, tudo isso vira um Braincast dividido em três blocos. A primeira parte do que gravamos na noite do dia 16 de março de 2009 vai ao ar ainda hoje, e espero que seja apenas o começo de uma longa série.

Agradeço todo mundo que trabalhou para que isso acontecesse, incluindo a própria Rosana e o Michel, por terem cedido gentilmente um pouco de seu tempo e cérebro. Ao pessoal do Enxame, Cris Dias, que co-apresenta o Braincast comigo, a Bruna Calheiros, que participou desde a concepção do projeto. E claro, ao apoio da colmeia, da Gafanhoto, da revista PIX e do Estúdio Mellancia.
