Time Inc.’s Southern Progress Division Lays Off 30

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — Layoffs returned to Time Inc. this week as its Southern Progress division in Birmingham, Ala., began eliminating some 30 positions across departments and titles. Southern Progress, which publishes magazines including Cooking Light and Cottage Living, had employed 922 full-timers.
