P&G Takes Laundry Brands In New Directions


BATAVIA, Ohio (AdAge.com) — Procter & Gamble is branching into dry cleaning, fashion and more as it looks to innovate in new areas amid an economic downturn and changing consumer demands regarding laundry. Among other efforts, P&G is launching a full-scale test of its Swash youth-focused sub-brand in Lexington, Ky., and has enlisted Tim Gunn of "Project Runway" to provide style tips online.
