Hasta La Creative!

Meat Loaf has always been comfortable with his flavor of bombastic self-parody, but this commercial for the AT&T GoPhone takes it to Shatner-esque proportions. I’m honestly of two minds about this ad. On the one hand, it’s as awful as anything associated with Meat Loaf’s music would be. On the other hand, he and his fake family (including Tiffany, playing Mom) look like they’re having the time of their lives singing part of “Paradise By the Dashboard Light” together. Maybe this duality was all a clever plan to keep me from wondering how the GoPhone actually works.
