Magazine Circulation Slips Again

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — U.S. magazines' paid and verified circulation has slipped again, declining a modest 2.3% in the first half of this year compared with the first half of 2009, according to the new semi-annual report released today by the Audit Bureau of Circulations. Those small declines are slowly getting bigger. But newsstand sales, a good gauge of consumer demand, are slowing their own declines. Newsstand winners include Cosmopolitan, Woman's World, First and In Touch Weekly.
