Local Media Summit: Ofcom’s Ed Richards warns local commercial TV news is unsustainable

LONDON – Ofcom chief executive Ed Richards has warned that current local commercial TV news is “unsustainable”, calling on the industry to form a new system to provide local news beyond the BBC in the future.
