Hovis ad banned from making ‘Britain’s softest’ claim

LONDON – Premier Foods has been banned from using a press and poster ad for Hovis, after it failed to substantiate claims that it was “voted Britain’s softest white” bread to the Advertising Standards Authority’s satisfaction.
