Digital Britain Summit: New thinking needed for local media, urges Burnham

LONDON – Culture Secretary Andy Burnham has warned that “continual cost cutting” within the local media sector will not solve its difficulties, pledging instead to lead “innovative” solutions to aid the embattled sector.
