Catfish: A verdade sobre um relacionamento online que parecia perfeito

Catfish

Um mês antes do “The Social Network” de David Fincher, que contará a história baseada em fatos reais do Facebook, vai estrear nos EUA um outro filme que tem a rede social como mote.

Só que a diferença é que, segundo os diretores Ariel Schulman e Henry Joost, aqui não tem nada de “baseado”, mas somente “a verdade”.

Trata-se do documentário “Catfish”, que foi considerado o grande sucesso do Festival de Sundance deste ano. No filme, Nev Schulman é um fotógrafo de 24 anos de idade, que conhece a artista Megan Faccio, 19 anos, e sua irmã, Abby Pierce, 8 anos, através do Facebook em 2007.

Depois de um longo relacionamento online – que inclui troca de presentes e conversas ao telefone com a mãe das garotas – Nev, Ariel e Henry decidem ir até uma fazenda no Michigan para conhecer toda a família. A partir daí o trailer não mostra mais nada, apenas diz que os 40 minutos finais serão “uma montanha-russa emocional”.

Para fugir dos spoilers, eu não li nenhum das centenas de artigos escritos sobre o filme. Porém, é óbvio que Megan não é quem diz ser, e que o que o final do documentário vai fazer será expor a realidade daquilo que foi criado online. Resta saber como e que verdade é essa. Em sua nova promoção internética, a Uniqlo selecionou 10 peças diferentes de roupa. Quanto mais pessoas tweetarem sobre elas, mais o preço cai.

A ação vai durar até o dia 9 de setembro, quando o preço com desconto estará disponível. No caso do exemplo na imagem abaixo, a peça já teve 91 tweets até agora. Custava 59.99 e está em 59.52. O preço pode chegar até o mínimo de 19.99.

Aqui no Brasil, Visa e Walmart já realizaram uma (polêmica) promoção similar no início do ano, chamada “Juntos Pelo Desconto”. Lembra?

Essa é a segunda ação da Uniqlo baseada no Twitter, em maio realizaram a Lucky Line. Uma fila virtual que distribuiu cupons de desconto.
