The studios have cashed out. The shotgun lies rusted. The Terminator is himself a Governor now. And his promises sound different. But a pair of Oakley frogskins sunglasses still hangs on to the legend. Just in case the world needs another round of saving.

Which Bono is Bono?
The voice keeps getting louder. The stage changes everyday. The activist becomes a rock star who becomes an activist. The impassioned ballads become lyrical speeches. And vice-versa. The lighter-waving fans are replaced by suited delegates at the UN. Through it all the brown, polarized, wide-framed Bulgaris remain constant. Letting those photosensitive eyes see all that is wrong with our world.

Posted in: UncategorizedQuando a gente lembra das mudanças nos hábitos dos consumidores, pensamos em diferentes formas de abordagem que a nossa marca deve se adequar, para melhor chegar até o target. Pode ser por meio do entretenimento ou da utilidade. Ou até mesmo por meio das duas ou mais.
Eu quero dizer que, diante de um cenário muito mais complexo, reina quem melhor conseguir agradar os consumidores que estão extremamente reticentes ao modelo tradicional da publicidade.
O papel da comunicação, hoje em dia, vai muito além de simples anúncios, informativos em formato de varejo e comerciais divertidos na televisão. Razão essa que fez nascer mais um termo: Brand Utility.
Em poucas palavras, Brand Utility se designa quando marcas adicionam valor à vida das pessoas para suprir suas necessidades, sejam elas reais ou emocionais.
Você pode chamar como quiser, e até mesmo considerar só mais um bullshit. Mas o que importa mesmo é saber do que estamos falando, para que a gente possa explorar melhor diferentes territórios e caminhos a serem tomados numa estratégia de comunicação.
Uma famosa frase do co-fundador da Barbarian Group, Benjamin Palmer, afirmava: “pelo mesmo dinheiro que se gasta nos modelos atuais de publicidade, poderíamos criar algo mais tangível, útil e reutilizável, que tivesse um papel mais importante na vida dos consumidores“. Eureka! Poucas frases são tão inspiradoras e reflexivas como essa.

Em cada vídeo dentro da lista “Responses”, tem o “The Man” citando a pessoa e com o comentário original na descrição. Abaixo apenas dois dos diversos exemplos. A criação é da Wieden + Kennedy.
E muitos por aí achando que social media é apenas ter um perfil no Twitter e uma página no Facebook.

Mr. Hirshberg, co-CEO and chief creative officer of Deutsch, L.A., will join video-game publisher Activision Blizzard as CEO of Activision Publishing effective Sept. 7. In that role, he will oversee the creative and business operations of the Activision studio, including key areas such as product development and consumer marketing.
