Pra descobrir o conteúdo escondido é só usar o smartphone e escanear o código, utilizando a câmera. As possibilidades são inúmeras (como podemos ver nesta página do Reddit).

Por conta da interação com qualquer código de barra físico, o Styckybitis abre um novo caminho para o marketing promocional. No entanto, por ser uma tecnologia ainda muito incipiente, podemos considerar que estratégias utilizando o serviço são, na verdade, experimentais.

Entre as principais marcas de bens de consumo que estão experimentando a novidade está a Coca-Cola, a Pepsi, a Frito-Lay e a Cambpell’s. Todas baseadas nos Estados Unidos, que é onde a start-up nasceu e continua a desenvolver seus aprimoramentos.

A última entre as referências, a Cambpell’s, lançou uma promoção baseada no ponto de venda e no ambiente digital, na qual prêmios em dinheiro são sorteados entre usuários do StickyBits que fotografam códigos de barra coladas nas novas embalagens das suas sopas.

Assim como acontece quando outros serviços e tecnologias são lançados, surgem várias dúvidas sobre a eficácia de uma estratégia de marketing diferente, como, por exemplo: As necessidades da marca serão atendidas? O main target vai ser impactado? Os consumidores serão incentivados para baixar e utilizar a ferramenta? Dúvidas como essas sempre devem vir antes da gente definir qualquer solução. Afinal de contas, nós, publicitários, trabalhamos respondendo perguntas, ou seja, resolvendo problemas.
