Songkick: uma sugestão para acompanhar SWU e Planeta Terra (e decidir em qual deles ir)

Quem é de Twitter twitta sempre sobre as polêmicas mais infrutíferas do mundo, diariamente. Mas é ali no meio do burburinho sobre o nada que surgem informações que podem interessar. Uma das questões que no momento estão bastante interessantes é sobre a corrida de fechamentos proposta pelos dois grandes festivais do ano aqui em São Paulo: de um lado, o competente Planeta Terra, com um bom histórico de organização, atrações e custo-benefício; de outro o SWU, estreante com pinta de quem vem para fazer muito barulho, querendo fazer da simpática Fazenda Maeda um grande revival de Woodstock.

Estava procurando informações sobre bandas que já fecharam para o line-up de ambas, preço e outras coisas quando encontrei o Songkick. Trata-se de um site deveras interessante para listar shows, tanto os que você pretende ir quanto os que marcaram a sua vida e valem entrar em seu Gigography.

E o sign up é feito todo em um clique, autenticação por Facebook, coisa fina! Rapidinho eu já havia montado meu perfil, importado bandas favoritas do Last.fm, colocado uns links, adicionado shows que vi e que gostaria de ver.

O sistema permite que você siga (track, no caso), artistas, locais, festivais/shows e amigos. Então para saber quando é o próximo show do Belchior, basta seguí-lo. Quais serão as novidades do SWU? Só seguir o festival. Quer saber que shows tenho interesse? Só me seguir.

Até incluí o glorioso show do Easy Star All-Stars que vi no ano passado e que não constava na lista do sistema. Aí sim, tudo simples de fazer. Dá até incluir o show que sua banda fez na garagem da casa do seu tio e entrar para o rico histórico mundial de shows… \m/

Dá até para fazer tudo pelo Last.fm, mas ele me parece bem mais confuso para esta questão de shows. O Songkick me parece mais simples e focado, tem poucos usuários brasileiros ainda e superou minhas expectativas. Agora é acompanhar por lá para me decidir se vou ao SWU e/ou ao Planeta Terra ou se vou em outros. Vai que o Mars Volta anuncia uma turnê brasileira ainda em 2010 e faz eu mudar completamente de idéia em relação aos demais shows?
