Dermatitis is an abnormal skin response to injury, allergy or infection. Dermatitis and eczema are synonymous. Desowen is a topical steroid indicated for the treatment of steroid responsive dermatoses, and treats atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis and diaper dermatitis.
