Contests to Redesign Currencies – British Pound Gets A New Face

(TrendHunter.com) The British currency has been given a new face for its coins. The 26 year old graphic designer Matthew Dent drew his inspiration for the new coins from the Shield of the Royal Arms and he was the fortunate one to win the design competition out of 4,000 entries.
