LONDON – There hasn’t been a weekend on Wall Street like it since the Great Crash of 1929, with Lehman Brothers, the fourth-largest investment bank, going bust and number three, the mighty Merrill Lynch, collapsing gratefully into the arms of Bank Of America for $44bn.
