NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — Award shows are getting tough on scam ads, but are they being tough enough? At this point, many of the major shows have weighed in and the result is a mixed bag. While getting caught with a scam ad will earn you negative attention, it's far from certain it'll get you or your agency banned. Whether that happens depends on the particular show.
