BBC names Bob Shennan controller of BBC Radio 2

LONDON – Bob Shennan has been appointed controller of BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music, replacing Lesley Douglas who resigned over the prank calls made to Andrew Sachs on the Russell Brand show.
