Unilever boss is paid more than £3m as promotional budget rockets

LONDON – Unilever’s Paul Polman received a pay packet of more than £3m in his first full year as chief executive while advertising and promotional expenditure rocketed by around €250m (£225m), according to the company’s annual report.
