Wal-Mart Agrees That Obama Eats Babies?

Wal-Mart, like many a big brand, uses third party advertising systems such as LinkShare to make placements on smaller media entities like blogs. It seems that kind of hands off a approach is biting them in the ass. The company’s banner ad is currently riding high on a a white supremacist’s blog. I refuse to link to it. And this is where advertising agencies can now make a big play. The new pitch to brands: let us handle all your buying chores or end up like Wal-Mart – paying for a terrified white supremacist to spread his message of filth. Makes me want to puke all over my desk.
