The Wonderful Company’s in-house agency, Wonderful Agency, has welcomed a pair of senior hires.

Corey Bartha joins Wonderful Agency as director of integrated production, tasked with overseeing all content production. Amber Justis recently joined the agency as executive creative director, managing creative work across on all Wonderful products, including Wonderful Pistachios and Wonderful Halos. Both Bartha and Justis report directly to Wonderful Agency chief creative officer Darren Moran.

“Corey and Amber are two of the top talents in the business when it comes to creating brand experiences that get talked about and become part of pop culture,” Moran said in a statement. “They join a rapidly growing creative department that’s stronger and more diverse than ever.”

Bartha arrives from Publicis Seattle, where he served in that role for nearly two and a half years. Previously, he has served in executive production roles for W+K and Quicksilver.

“I’m excited to work with Darren and the incredible team he’s been building,” Bartha said in a statement. “The Wonderful Company’s healthy brands, the unique business model of the agency, and the innovative work they’ve been creating are all really inspiring.”

Justis arrived at the agency following a period as a freelance creative director working with agencies such as mcgarrybowen and Huge and brands including Google, Burt’s Bees, Brita, Hidden Valley Ranch and Kingsford. “There is a tremendous group of creative talent at the Wonderful Agency and I’m honored to be part of it” Justis added. “The kind of work we’re developing respects our audiences and their time: it’s entertaining, enlightening and always surprising. And it’s a big part of what makes the Wonderful brands so beloved.”

EL AL: Europe Doesn’t Have to Be Part of the Deal

EL AL, Israel’s national airline, presents a new ad that takes politics to the sky.

The print ad, by McCANN Tel-Aviv, features Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhu and President Donald Trump shaking hands – with counselor Angela Merkel positioned upset, behind them.

By tapping into a monumentally important moment in the Israeli-USA delicate relationship, EL AL is able to highlight a significant value offering: the chance to skip Europe and fly all the way to the land of dreams, with no grueling stops, which creates a highly convenient and valuable flight experience. EL AL is the only airline to offer this option of direct flight from North America to Israel and vice versa – and the campaign main goal is to proclaim exactly that. While others make deals that don’t necessarily do any good for the people (both in politics as well as in flights), EL AL understands that sometimes, you can (and should) just skip the middle-man.

This very precise situation presented in the ad, borrowed from the political scene into the airline industry, leverages EL AL’s positive connection created between Israel and U.S.A in a witty and creative way.

Alcohol & Society: An AA-meeting For Children

In the small country of Denmark, 122,000 children grow up with a parent who drinks too much. It’s an uncomfortable world to navigate in, and an everyday filled with shame, tears, anger and broken promises.

That’s why you don’t have to be an alcoholic to have an alcohol problem.

To showcase this insight, Alcohol and Society made a film with a simple idea: an AA-meeting for children.

Audi: Ever After

A year after the success of “The doll that chose to drive”, its last animated short film, the Barcelona-based agency and Audi Spain have released “Ever After”.

The night before Christmas, a father tells a story to his daughter. Although the father tells a classic tale, the girl imagines a totally different story.

With this campaign, we are looking to raise awareness about how classic tales include gender stereotypes in their stories and, moreover, to claim the power of imagination to fight against these stereotypes.
