Wake up America, your emperor has no clothes
Posted in: UncategorizedHey America,
How many people does Trump have to denigrate, how many lies does he have to tell, how many pussies does he have to grab before we realize he’s wearing no clothes?
When are David Brooks and Tom Friedman and Paul Krugman and all the other intellectual pontificators at the New York Times and Washington Post going to stop pulling punches and really lock horns with him?
When are Fareed Zakaria and Anderson Cooper and the journalists at the morning press briefings going to stop throwing caution to the wind and ask straight up if the he is high on something?
When are climate scientists going to take a break from writing learned papers and accuse Donald of having some screws loose in his head?
When are psychologists going to diagnose his inability to distinguish fantasy from reality, his lying, and his waffling as symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder?
When are lefties going to stop waving those same lame placards around in the streets and start stink bombing Trump Tower?
Who’s going to muster the guts to point out that the President has no clothes?
Who’s going to hit that lying bastard where it hurts?
Where’s that revolutionary, can-do, kick ass spirit that made America great?

Mas no papo entre Peter Schwartz (Salesforce) e Yolande Piazza (Citibank), foi comentado a nova aposta deste […]

Phillips 66 Names Carmichael Lynch as Agency of Record
Posted in: UncategorizedOil company Phillips 66 selected Carmichael Lynch as its agency of record, following a closed review launched in December and managed by The Burnett Collective.
According to Kantar Media, Phillips 66 spent approximately $8 million on measured media in 2015 and $6 million from January through November in 2016.
Prior to the review, Venables Bell & Partners had served as AOR since winning a previous review over GSD&M and David&Goliath in 2009.
“We’ve recently decided to part ways with PSX after 8 great years working with them on a number of their brands including Phillips 66 and 76,” VB&P president Paul Birks-Hay said in a statement at the time. “We’re proud of our work together and wish them much success ahead.”
Carmichael Lynch will now be responsible for creative, digital, brand strategy, analytics, cause marketing and media buying and planning for the Phillips 66, 78 and Conoco brands. The agency’s first work will focus on supporting current campaigns via promotions and sports marketing, with a new brand campaign set to launch some time next year, Adweek reports.
“Carmichael Lynch came to the table with an understanding of our business needs, our values and our company culture,” Phillips 66 senior director of brands Sarah Bolding said in a statement. “Their integrated resources produced an outstanding creative product and 360-degree plan.”

Ad Groups Back Repeal of Near-Dead FCC Privacy Rules
Posted in: UncategorizedIt’s no secret the advertising industry does not like the privacy rules established under former Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler, which would have limited ISP data sharing. Today six ad industry trade groups, which have been vocal critics of the rules, backed recent congressional resolutions aimed at repealing the FCC rules. The rules already have been on life support since new FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, appointed by President Donald Trump, suspended them indefinitely before they went into effect.
“Without prompt action in Congress or at the FCC, the FCC’s regulations would break with well-accepted and functioning industry practices, chilling innovation and hurting the consumers the regulation was supposed to protect,” wrote The American Association of Advertising Agencies (the 4A’s), American Advertising Federation, Association of National Advertisers, Data & Marketing Association (formerly the Direct Marketing Association), the Interactive Advertising Bureau and one of two large self-regulatory bodies for the digital ad industry, the Network Advertising Initiative, said in a statement today.
Republicans Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona and Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee each sponsored resolutions that would invalidate the FCC rule which, had it gone into effect as originally planned for earlier this month, would have blocked internet service providers from activities like using and sharing data on location and web browsing habits unless consumers explicitly opted in.
