Apesar de a premissa do comercial ser mais do que batida, a bem-cuidada produção da Rattling Stick e o VFX da Finish fazem valer o play. Aqui, vemos uma família se preparando para o Natal, quando de repente Caco, dos Muppets, entra na sala e chama todo mundo para ir assistir televisão. É claro que a família sai correndo e, em seguida, os vemos caracterizados como personagens dos Muppets, Homem-Aranha, Lego – O Filme e Frozen.

Consumers Want Government to Tighten Regulations for Advertisers, Pew Study Says


More than 40% of consumers rate some information that marketers gather and use on a regular basis — such as their purchasing habits, website visits and who their friends are — is somewhat sensitive, according to a new Pew Research Center Internet Project study.

The study, conducted in January to evaluate consumer attitudes towards government and commercial data gathering and privacy, suggests that Americans in the post-Snowden era are concerned with government data collection and surveillance. But they are simultaneously looking at the very same government to establish more stringent regulations for commercial entities.

“Perhaps most striking is Americans’ lack of confidence that they have control over their personal information,” said the report, which presents stats from a survey of 607 adults conducted for Pew by GfK Group. “That pervasive concern applies to everyday communications channels and to the collectors of their information — both in the government and in corporations,” the report said.

Web Development Platform Wix.com Says It Bought Its First Super Bowl Spot


The web development platform Wix.com will air its first Super Bowl commercial in the upcoming game, according to the company.

Wix.com, which allows users to create websites, said it had purchased a national 30-second spot from NBC to run during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl on Feb. 1. The ad will highlight Wix’s mission to simplify website creation, specifically for small business owners.

Smaller marketers sometimes approximate a Super Bowl buy by assembling air time purchased from local network affiliates or pay-TV cable or satellite systems, but Wix said that was not the case here. “We bought the ad through Two Nil directly from NBC,” a Wix spokeswoman said, referring to the company’s agency. NBC declined to comment.

Segundo rumores, Jonathan Nolan, irmão de Christopher Nolan e co-autor de “Interestelar”, estaria responsável pela adaptação da trilogia para a TV, que será realizada em parceria com a Warner Bros.

Composta pelos livros “Fundação”, “Fundação e Império” e “Segunda Fundação”, a série de Asimov foi premiada com o Hugo Award de “Melhor série de todos os tempos” em 1966, antes mesmo que Asimov completasse a história com quatro outros títulos – “Prelúdio à Fundação”, “Origens da Fundação”, “Limites da Fundação” e “Fundação e Terra”.

Com uma trama densa, há quem diga que o material pode render uma série longuíssima, mas ainda não foram divulgados detalhes sobre quantas temporadas ou episódios a adaptação para a TV deverá ter.
