Le Studio Olafur Eliasson?? a réalisé une sculpture circulaire en mouvement incrustée de miroirs. Esse restaurante quer ser o pior do Yelp

Desde o surgimento dos sites de resenhas, a principal preocupação dos prestadores de serviço é não desagradar o cliente, para evitar que ele vá fazer más avaliações sobre o local na rede.

No entanto, o restaurante italiano Botto Bistro, em São Francisco, na Califórnia, decidiu mudar a estratégia. David Cerretini, dono do estabelecimento, conta que chegou a investir cerca de 270 dólares em anúncios no Yelp para promover o seu empreendimento, mas assim que parou de fazer propaganda na plataforma, viu suas melhores resenhas desaparecerem e a média da sua avaliação cair drasticamente.

Ao invés de voltar a gastar com o Yelp, ele decidiu usar a ‘desgraça’ de modo positivo, e quer se tornar agora o restaurante da região com a pior avaliação dentro da plataforma. Para isso, o proprietário afixou no local um quadro em que destaca os ‘absurdos’ que o restaurante faz, como cobrar pelo pãozinho que acompanha o prato, e oferece 25% de desconto em uma pizza em troca de uma resenha ruim sobre o lugar (!)

Como na internet a zoeira não tem fim, os clientes estão postando suas resenhas com apenas uma estrelinha satirizando problemas inexistentes no local. Além de incentivar as pessoas a irem conferir se o local é mesmo assim tão ~ruim~, a estratégia de ser o pior restaurante do Yelp gerou um resultado de PR bastante interessante para o Botto Bistro, com diversas notícias sobre o bistrô circulando na rede. “É a melhor estratégia de negócio que fiz em anos”, comemora Cerretini.

Mercado McCann Opens as Global Creative Hub in Argentina


McCann Worldgroup is partnering with well-known Argentine creative Martin Mercado to open an international creative hub in Buenos Aires called Mercado McCann. Mr. Mercado, and the team of four people who are coming with him, worked at Y&R Argentina until very recently.

Mercado McCann follows a similar move in November 2012 in Spain, where McCann teamed up with another Argentine creative, Leandro Raposo, to set up an international creative hub in Barcelona called Cyranos/McCann Worldgroup. Cyranos works with marketers like Coca-Cola, and Mercado McCann hopes to do the same, as well as handle local and regional assignments.

Mr. Mercado joined Y&R Argentina as creative director six years ago and departed in July amid much speculation about what he would do next. He became notorious two years ago for creating a spot for the Argentine government in which an Argentine athlete was sent to the Falkland Islands to train for a week for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The provocative idea was that the athlete was training on Argentine soil, since Argentina has long claimed the Falkland Islands belong to their country, and not the U.K.. The controversial spot created a diplomatic incident, with complaints from the U.K. government, an appeal by Y&R for the Argentine government to stop running the ad, and Argentina’s refusal.

Salesforce and Omnicom Ink Marketing Cloud, CRM Deal


Salesforce and Omnicom announced a partnership on Tuesday that will give the holding company’s agencies and their clients access to Salesforce’s full product offering.

The deal underscores how agencies are turning to marketing technology to centralize customer data. It also demonstrates Salesforce’s attempts to expand its client base.

“Five years ago, I don’t think Omnicom would have done something like this,” said Michael Lazerow, chief strategy officer of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, in an interview. “They would have left it to a large system integrator to do [customer-relationship management].”
