Drew Brees está se aposentando…

Estamos a alguns meses do início do campeonato de futebol americano, mas Drew Brees, quarterback do New Orleans Saints resolveu anunciar sua aposentadoria, aos 35 anos de idade. O motivo? Só para poder andar de moto, o que ele é proibido de fazer por contrato, como mostra o comercial Can-AM.

O filme de divulgação do modelo Spyder começa com o jogador falando que seu contrato – que aparece em uma versão ampliada – proíbe que ele ande de moto, mas que felizmente ele encontrou uma brecha. Em seguida, liga para seu agente e solta a bomba, avisando que resolveu se aposentar.

O que se segue são imagens que misturam o agente tendo uma crise de choro e o jogador dando um rolê com o modelo Spyder. Depois de matar a vontade, ele liga novamente para o agente e diz que a aposentadoria está cancelada… pelo menos por enquanto.

Na assinatura final, a Can-AM convida as pessoas a ganharem a Spyder que Drew Brees está proibido de usar.

Com criação da The Escape Pod e produção da Wondros, o resultado ficou engraçadinho.

New Fortune and Money Websites Go to War With Old Partner CNNMoney


Fortune and Money magazines will each roll out their own websites Sunday, ending a long partnership with CNNMoney.com under which their digital content had been subsumed under the larger site.

The collaboration is coming to an end because the magazines’ and CNN’s family is splitting up: Time Warner is spinning off Time Inc., which owns Fortune and Money, while holding onto entertainment and TV properties such as CNN. Time Inc. begins trading on the New York Stock Exchange as its own public company in less than a week.

The break-up means longtime allies are going to war for readers and advertisers, and they already sound much more like competitors than old friends.
