Nos EUA, a Ford lançou o Explorer 2011 através do Facebook. O carro primeiro foi revelado na rede social, para depois ganhar as feiras de automóveis e a mídia em geral.

No Brasil, a montadora segue o exemplo e vai utilizar o Facebook como peça central da campanha do novo Fiesta. E não só com um perfil fazendo as vezes de site do carro, mas também explorando o botão “Curtir” nos filmes e no mundo real.

Serão 10 vídeos para internet e dois comerciais de TV – assista o teaser abaixo.

Na festa de lançamento do modelo, a Ford traz para o Brasil o duo electropop Chromeo, e para concorrer a um convite será preciso encontrar o carro nas ruas de São Paulo – o itinerário será divulgado no facebook.com/NewFiestaStories – e tirar uma foto com uma mãozinha de “Curtir” gigante.

Só é uma pena que essa versão 2011 do Fiesta no Brasil por enquanto seja apenas a sedan, e não a hatch toda tecnológica e que vem com Microsoft Sync lá dos gringos.

Qualquer pessoa que visitar o site também pode indicar alguma música, ou favoritar uma faixa que já foi inserida em uma playlist. Quem estiver participando, seja indicando ou simplesmente favoritando uma música, concorre a uma conta premium no Spotfy.
