NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — In a test-run case in Opelousas, La., a small town an hour west of Baton Rouge, the chain supermarket Save-a-Lot delivered a bag of free food and other staples, unannounced, to about 1,000 homes within a one to one-and-a-half mile area surrounding the store.

O limite de localidade não vai existir, mas o Google irá pedir que as pessoas não abusem do tempo. Fora da cabine, entretanto, o Google Voice só é gratuito para ligações para EUA e Canadá.

Além de colocar o serviço (e a marca) no mundo real, a intenção da ação, obviamente, é fazer você chegar em casa e criar uma conta no gmail.com/call.

Embora este já seja um bom incentivo, a maior atração deste game online é a chance de ganhar gifts pra lá de especiais, como é o caso dos créditos telefônicos e iPods touch.

Antes de terminar o post, eu precisava lembrar vocês do que a Coca-Cola havia anunciado recentemente, no Reino Unido: A partir de agora, as redes sociais seriam o principal ponto de contato com os consumidores na internet, graças ao potencial de interação provida pelas comunidades. E este game online é só mais uma prova disso.
