NEW YORK (AdAge.com) — By now you've heard the offense against basketball star LeBron James' one-hour TV special to announce his team choice — that it was narcissistic, sullied his brand and blurred the journalistic line for ESPN. But what you haven't heard is the defense of the man who helped put the show together: uber-agent Ari Emanuel, who says "The Decision" forwarded the paradigm for advertiser-funded programming.

LOS ANGELES (AdAge.com) — From "The Biggest Loser" to "Dance Your Ass Off," weight-loss reality fare has ruled the airwaves for years. So it's somewhat ironic that scripted series seem to be headed in the opposite direction — several recent and new dramas are focused on plus-size characters who aren't fighting the battle of the bulge.

“Too many clothes make you cold. Winter clothing drive You donate. We carry. Somebody receives. Agente Cidadão See how the campaign was made on www.youtube.com/agentecidadao”
This year, the Agente Cidadão, a nonprofit organization that collects clothing, objects, furniture and food, made interventions in high-density traffic streets under viaducts and bridges that are taken up as residence by homeless people. Life-size pictures of closets full with clothes were pasted up in these areas, alongside with posters of the campaign. The places became actual “living ads”, and pictures of these interactions were used in the print campaign.

Don’t self treat
Posted in: UncategorizedCan you treat yourself better than your doctor?
Self-medication can put your life in danger. Always consume medicines only after consulting your doctor.
Millions of people in India develop various medical complications due to not consulting to a docotor / physician before consuming medicines for minor ailments. Worldwide as well, self-medication is a huge problem. Government / non-government agencies in India and other countries have not started recongnising it as a growing problem and taken up the issue on a serious note. Patil Hospital, mumbaihad organised a ‘Patient Welfare Program’for educating patients / attendants / pharmacists / para-mecical staff / general public on various issues including ‘self medication’. The poster titled ‘Self Medication’ was highly successful in catching the attention and generating awareness among them on the importance of consulting a doctor before consuming any medication. Around 5000 people attended the program that was conducted for 10 days. The poster design was recreated in the size of a pamphlet and distributed to all the visitors. People could understand the complications and complexity associated with self medication. Many of them vowed to not indulge in self medication and also encourge their friends and relatives to do the same.
