Resultados. Era a dúvida que restava diante da publicidade no Twitter. Mas o Financial Times revela um número impressionante para o “promoted tweet” da Coca-Cola nas primeiras 24 horas depois de publicado.
86 milhões de impressões, com um engajamento de 6% dos usuários contra os .02% – na média – de qualquer outro tipo de publicidade online, por exemplo.
O tweet patrocinado da Coca-Cola foi publicado logo após os últimos jogos do grupo C da Copa do Mundo, confirmando a classificação de EUA e Inglaterra. Vale lembrar que essa foi apenas a segunda ação do tipo no Twitter, a primeira foi da Starbucks.
Mas os números expressivos tem explicação, além do ótimo timing. Foi uma campanha integrada dentro do Twitter, com o Promoted Tweet + Promoted Trending Topic. Ao clicar na tag #WC2010, os resultados da busca vinham acompanhados da mensagem da marca (imagem acima).
