UPDATE: Apparently, GSD&M dropped out because they won some other financial services biz. What that is? Still, no idea. Stay tuned, please. Merci.
Financial advisory firm Edward Jones has skated into the final round of their creative and media review. Named in 2004, incumbent Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners in New York is defending. They are up against Cramer-Krasselt, Chicago (now what did we say about C-K keeping it real?) and TM Advertising, Dallas.
According to Adweek, for some reason Greed, Sex, Drugs & Money, as well as Carmichael Lynch withdrew. No clue as to why. Anyone? (superspyin at gmail dot com) GSD&M is also engaged in the pitch for Home Depot and Sherwin-Williams. Maybe they’re just too busy. Creative director Mark Taylor must be working his ass off.
