I’m loving this infographics on campaign contributions based on creative careers from Notchcode.

What Americans found interesting was that voting is compulsory in Australia. You’re legally bound to vote and will be fined if you don’t. We also don’t really donate cash to candidates.

The Future Of 1967

Aaaaages ago, when the ‘pc on every desktop’ meme still had to be dreamed of and DOS wasn’t coded yet, a company named the Philco-Ford Corporation launched a pretty foreseeing prototype video of the technology they would see arrive in the homes of people. Philco-Ford was funny enough an aeronautical company, but the devices they’ve placed in the living room or in dad’s home office look a lot like the ones you’d see in the early Bond movies. Despite the age of the movie, things like online shopping, home surveillance, automated backups and online payments were already being discussed. The movie is estimated to be of 1967. Enjoy the flashback.

While late to the party the platform will be built using Google’s “Open Social” which means you build one app and it can be easily ported to Bebo, LinkedIn and many other social sites.

I look forard to seeing Zombies and Pirate apps take over Myspace.

No PC

For 3 days now I’ve been out of a computer. The ingrate little prick just decided to stop working and now I’m hoping to be able to recover what I had in the hard disk, ’cause if I lost it, it would mean lots of years of hard work being flushed down the toilet.

It’s been days of a lot of events on my end and also on the internet, so I’ll try to keep up with them from my non-internet position and post from time to time.

So this doesn’t by any means mean that the website is going offline. Only that the posting frequency won’t be as often as I’d like it to be.

Hope I can fix the PC soon. If anyone has some knowledge on PC’s and wants to give a hand. I’d be more than happy to get an email from you.

Greetings.
