While we all know that pornography has severely gone beyond bounds, it would be interesting to note how and where it all started. Originally started out as an art, we can see through the years how it has evolved into something awry in the eyes of people, perhaps a testament to why pornography has become one of the highly criticized subjects in the world today.

It may be crazy to note that pornography as an art was never that severe in the early years. We can take our cue from this book, “The Porning of America” which tries to serve as a jumping point for discussion concerning sex and sexuality within the contemporary American framework.

This book aims to spearhead a new debate about the role of sexuality, sexual activity and liberation in general in the coming generation of American society. It may be interesting to see what this book has to shed as far as pornography and sexuality is concerned.
