Why Miles Nadal Appointed an Analytics Whiz Atop MDC Partners
Posted in: UncategorizedMDC Partners has hired former Harrah’s & Caesars Entertainment Chief Marketing Officer David Norton to lead analytics and consumer insights across the holding company. MDC owns agencies such as 72andSunny, CP&B, Anomaly and KBS+.
It’s an unusual role atop an ad-holding firm, but MDC has been known for hiring talent at the parent company level in roles that rivals don’t typically have, such as a chief procurement officer, for example.
Mr. Norton will be charged with optimizing MDC’s analytics resources and helping drive clients’ growth and profitability. Most recently, he spent 13 years at Harrah’s & Caesars Entertainment, including holding the CMO role, overseeing CRM, loyalty, multicultural marketing, traditional and digital advertising, revenue management, brand management, customer insights, VIP Marketing and retail.
