Tina Fey for VEEP, please!

This September 2004 cover of LIFE magazine seems like it foretold something in retrospect…. I think it’s giving me an idea…. Bear with me now.. Everyone, vote for McCain, then after they’re sworn in, have someone kidnap Palin and replace her with Tina Fey. Wait for McCain to step back due to health reasons, and presto; Tina Fey is POTUS! Now that would be a hoot and a half.
