The Wire makes BBC Two debut with 568,000 viewers

LONDON – Critically acclaimed US drama ‘The Wire’ made its UK debut on BBC Two last night and despite its 11.20pm slot pulled in 568,000 viewers, according to unofficial overnight figures.
