The Folkoperan Opera House: An opera made of orgasms

Swedish Opera House, Folkoperan, is known for their award-winning provocative themes: This autumn they are putting on Turandot by Puccini, originally released in 1926. The overarching theme in the opera is desire; Turandot’s admirers have such an overwhelming desire they would rather die than live without her.

Folkoperan wants to celebrate this boundless desire with a promotion where people of different sex, age, origin and sexual orientation orgasm in the tune of the opera’s own climax – the aria Nessun Dorma.
