Square Debuts First TV Ads From 72andSunny


Payments company Square is investing in increasing its profile via new TV ads.

The company has made a national cable buy that will run over the course of four months and includes primetime placement on channels like Fox Business, Discovery, CNBC, Bravo, MSNBC and Nat Geo.

Six 15-second ads made by Square’s agency, 72andSunny, debut today. All of them feature the Square Reader, a dongle that merchants can attach to iOS and Android devices to swipe credit cards.
