Smucker’s to Buy Folgers From P&G for $3.3 Billion

J.M. Smucker Co. will buy the Folgers coffee business from Procter & Gamble Co. for $3.3 billion in an all-stock transaction that will boost the jam-marketer's sales to $4.7 billion, mostly from orphan brands acquired from P&G.
