Hasta La Creative!

In addition to its nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards this morning, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences also released nominations for its annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards, with categories including Outstanding Commercial.

Among the agencies behind the Outstanding Commercial nominations, Anomaly lead the pack with two nominations, both for its Super Bowl work on Budweiser. One was for “Hero’s Welcome,” directed by HSI’s The Malloys, depicting the emotional homecoming of soldier Chuck Nadd, greeted not just by his family and friends, but also the Bud Clydesdales.

The agency and A-B’s second nomination went to “Puppy Love.” Directed by RSA’s Jake Scott, the popular ad depicted the unbreakable bond between a cuddly Labrador pup and his Clydesdale buddy.
