Making its TV debut solely in Portland of all place, Icelandic vodka Reyka puts its tongue firmly in cheek for these simple spots. People ask what Icelanders drink. That’s easy: Reyka. People ask what they eat? Well…that’s a different story. One that might offend the delicate sensibilities of a Portland local. So the man quickly says “hot dogs,” instead of puffins. What he does not know of course is that in Portland, unless its raw vegan food that’s been lovingly lectured to about privilege, there is no good answer.
