People On The Move: Entergy Names Merritt Group VP of Corporate Communications

In her new role, Ms. Merritt will provide executive leadership for the company’s internal and external communications organization. She brings more than 25 years of experience in communications leadership in the private sector and academia to her role. She also held senior leadership roles in various companies such as Saturn, BellSouth, AT&T.
Fox Digital Studio has hired Mel Clements as VP of branded entertainment. His role is to work with major advertisers to create IP by providing access to a new generation of creative filmmakers, TV and film writers and promising acting talent. Prior to joining Fox, Mr. Clements worked as a creative experience director for Microsoft’s Yarn. He built his career developing breakthrough marketing campaigns for consumer brands like Nike, Coca-Cola and Microsoft. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Emory University.
MEC has appointed Shenan Reed as the new president-digital for North America. She will lead the company’s digital business and be responsible for further driving the advancement of digital growth and innovation across North America. She brings a strong background in integrated planning to her role. In 2001, Ms. Shenan opened her own agency, Morpheus Media. Ten years later, she merged with the CreateThe Group and remained as the chief media officer as well as SEO, analytics and social and mobile strategy.
