MedPark Hospital: Design for Healing

For more than 20 years there has never been a new large private hospital in Bangkok, but today, with the determination of a group of healthcare personnel who start questioning what is currently available and analyze the possibility of future innovations. The answer is to work together and make the phenomenal change happen!

Constant questioning was used as the basis to implement changes and adopt new approaches, starting with a new medical culture, both health service and the new design of the hospital that specially crafted to seek excellence in treatment quality and safety. The story is presented through Fun Demonstration that turns complicated concepts into something simple, easy to digest and understand in terms of a new designed culture and the hospital that co-designed by doctors to achieve the goal to become a Healthcare Hub for the Future.

The story demonstrates how the hospital collaboratively designed by doctors. Narrating through a phrase during an architecture client presentation where a doctor throws idea on the table and questioning every detail in genuine pursuit of patients’ health and well-being. From site design, environmental considerations, and equipment procurement to design of patient care processes or Patient Experience that seek excellence in treatment quality and safety.
