IHeartMedia Taps Gayle Troberman as CMO
Posted in: UncategorizedGayle Troberman, a Microsoft veteran who was more recently chief marketing and ideas officer at IPG Mediabrands, has joined iHeartMedia in the newly created role of exec VP and chief marketing officer.
It’s a high-profile hire for iHeartMedia, the radio, streaming music and outdoor ad giant that operated as Clear Channel Media until until last month. Ms. Troberman served as a consultant for Clear Channel on the name change, working closely with CEO Bob Pittman to define the brand.
She will now help market the company’s businesses to listeners and advertisers, according to the company, developing a marketing agenda for iHeartMedia and helping it build ad programs with clients. She will report to Mr. Pittman.
