HBO: HBO Celebrates Mother’s Day w/Limited Edition Character-Themed Cards

HBO recognizes that there is no one way to be a mother.
So, for this Mother’s Day, the network is releasing a series of greeting cards that celebrate all kinds of moms – the good, not-always-perfect, and everything in between – through some of their most notable and complex female characters.
Designed by partner Wieden+Kennedy New York, each card features the illustration of a character on the front with a cheeky Mother’s Day sentiment inside, brought to life in collaboration with renowned illustrators:
Ignasi Monreal (Cersei & Daenerys, Game of Thrones)
Robin Eisenberg (Hannah, Girls)
Hsiao Ron Cheng (Maeve, Westworld)
Shyama Golden (Molly, Insecure)
Felipe Posada (Selina, Veep)
Førtifem (Carmela, The Sopranos)
The cards will be available (and free to the public) starting May 9 at the Bryant Park HBO store at 1100 6th Ave in New York, as well as various pop-up locations around NY and LA to be confirmed this week.
