Drone Puppies With a Message Take Flight on Viral Video Chart

Considering the web’s fascination with puppies and drones, it’s no surprise that a spot featuring puppies delivered by drones has landed on the Viral Video Chart, which tracks views of campaigns in the week ending each Sunday, as compiled by Visible Measures.
But what some may find surprising is the somewhat dark turn the spot takes toward the end as The Humane Society of the United States drives its point home: puppies are not products to be ordered online with same-day delivery. (In fact, you probably shouldn’t even joke about it, as GoDaddy learned with its ill-fated Super Bowl ad earlier this year.)
Duracell’s spot featuring climber Kevin Jorgeson remains at the top of the viral mountain for the second week in a row. And the Coneheads (Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin) join Jake from State Farm to put State Farm on the chart.
